Please find here an overview of how the ODHack works.
Before the ODHack begins
- On this page you will find the latest information of the ODHack taking place. The page will detail the step by step procedure and the projects that are participating.
- Contributors need to sign up on **OnlyDust** and to register over here to participate in the hack.
- Maintainers are to have all the issues up and ready before d-day and tagged.
- ⚠️ For the one coming up November 21st, the issues must be tagged ODHack10. ⚠️
- Community calls will be organised before the ODHack begins, so stay tuned via our telegram group or on the page itself.
- Have your communication channel ready (Telegram is preferable). This is where contributors can come in contact with you.
Duration
- The ODHack lasts around 10 days. All work by the contributors must be finalized by the tenth day. Maintainers then have an extra two days to review final work and merge PRs. That said, maintainers can review along the way if PRs are being made earlier!
- The first few days are when it is important to be available and reactive to get issues assigned and ready to tackle.
- The one in Novemver begins November 21st and ends Sunday 1st December.
When the ODHack starts
- On D-Day, contributors will be able to look at the issues available from all projects and apply to those that they believe they can tackle.
- Contributors are highly recommended that when they apply, they introduce themselves and how they plan on tackling the issue. Maintainers can then review and see who to assign the issue to, according to the profile that best fits. Note: please do so within the first two days.
<aside>
⚠️ When contributors are assigned, they can start working on the issue. They are to keep the community up to date in your communication channel group or directly with the maintainers. If there are no news, maintainers are free to re-assign tasks.
